At the Border

The experiment which produced these shots involved pouring canola oil into water and then adding some drops of food colouring. The camera was positioned at the interface between these fluids which captured the drops of colour resting right at this point until gravity overcomes the surface tension around the bubble pulls its coloured contents down into the water below where it diffuses throughout.
